TWILIGHT ZONES - Thresholds of the Familiar
Oct. 29 2026 - Feb. 25 2027
Add to Calendar 29/10/2026 25/02/2027 Europe/Brussels TWILIGHT ZONES - Thresholds of the Familiar Why are we fascinated by the very things that frighten us? When the familiar suddenly seems alien, enigmatic, or threatening, our imagination begins to fill the empty spaces with stories of its own. Where abandoned spaces speak of the absence of life and lifeless objects seem to possess an unsettling vitality, our sense of certainty begins to waver. The exhibition at the Helvetia Art Foyer traces these subtle fissures in everyday life and explores the uncanny interplay between attraction and dread. An invitation to those liminal worlds where the boundaries between reality and imagination begin to blur. Helvetia Art Foyer 29 October 2026 – 25 February 2027 Thursdays, 4 pm to 8 pm Additional opening during Museums Night Basel: Friday 22 January 2027, 6 pm to 2 am St.Alban-Anlage 26 4002 Basel Switzerland DD/MM/YYYY true
