Espaço Milú Villela – Brasiliana: Modern and Contemporary Art
Espaço Milú Villela–named in honor of the psychologist, cultural manager, and philanthropist who presided over Itaú Cultural for almost 20 years–is dedicated to Brazil as represented and reinvented in Brazilian artistic production; in this sense, it is established as the Brasiliana Collection and features curatorial selections focused on modern and contemporary Brazilian art. Using excerpts from the Itaú Unibanco Collection, the exhibition space proposes an interaction with works under an ambience of research, preservation, studies and, above all, discovery of multifaceted versions of a diverse country.
