Within this context and by contrast the visual arts and other cultural pursuits are increasingly pervaded by a myriad of topics as a consequence of the kaleidoscopic choice of direction in which one can navigate his or her research and poetics. Reality and abstraction, documentary and fiction, social issues and intimate reflections, the general and the particular, the local and the global, all intermingle and form a vision of a fragmentary world – one in which we all live, surrounded and bombarded by motivating forces and information, innovations and doubts, images and noises.
