The Segment #1 exhibition project consists of artworks selected from the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection. The exhibition aims at addressing a variety of artistic inclinations in today's international contemporary art. It is impossible to categorize these works under certain titles, for the basic concept that unites works by artists from different generations and cultural contexts is "the spirit of the present time".
Segment #1 refers to new interpretations in a fresh framework and focuses on "integrities of meaning" while providing an "opportunity" for the artworks to exhibit themselves with their own aura.
