The corporate collection which serves as a point of departure for the exhibition has a “homogeneous” structure including works produced by using different techniques since 2000s. Segment #4 exhibition aims to open up a new field for new works in the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection, while Erwin Redl and Thierry Dreyfus set out to present the most suitable interpretive frame for their new site-specific works.
Spot On exhibition is a presentation model developed in order to showcase the works of artists represented in the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection. Based in Dusseldorf, Paul Schwer did a large mural painting for Borusan Contemporary in 2007. Since then, he visited Istanbul many times and formed a visual memory with the photos he took and the designs he made during his visits. Spot On #6 features new works inspired by Istanbul by Paul Schwer, which have never been displayed before.
