The Corporate Art Collection roundtables were initiated by Francis Lacloche of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) in France during the Paris Photo Fairs of 2000 and 2002, in accordance with the wishes of the late gallery owner, Philip Nelson.
In 2005, Aline Pujo, curator of the Neuflize Vie/ABN AMRO collection, organized the third roundtable in Spain on the occasion of San Sebastian’s DFOTO Fair.
In 2006, Jacqueline d’Amécourt, curator of the Lhoist collection, hosted the fourth roundtable at the headquarters of Lhoist Group on the occasion of the ArtBrussels Fair, during which it was decided to set up the association called IACCCA.
In 2007, ArtBasel Fair hosted the fifth roundtable for curators of corporate collections. The first annual general meeting of IACCCA was then held.
2008: Hervé Chandès and Sonia Perrin of Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain hosted the general assembly and annual meeting during the FIAC.
2009: Luminita Sabau and Christina Leber of DZ Bank hosted the general assembly and annual meeting during Art Forum Berlin.
2010: Alexandra Fonseca Pinho of Banco Espirito Santo hosted the general assembly and annual meeting.
